Masterpieces for Miracles Art Show Supports Pediatric Care and Healing Through Art

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 2, 2026) — Children’s Health Foundation hosted Masterpieces for Miracles, a premiere art show on Friday, Feb. 20, at The Amelia in Oklahoma City, bringing together art, community, and philanthropy in support of Oklahoma’s children.

The event raised vital funds for pediatric research, education, and care across the state, while also supporting pediatric art therapy programs for children receiving short- and long-term medical care.

The evening featured the work of internationally acclaimed artist and illustrator Nick Backes, whose career includes collaborations with American Girl, Ralph Lauren, Levi Strauss, Valentino, Playboy, and The New Yorker. Thanks to the generosity of the Backes family, a private collection of his original illustrations was donated to Children’s Health Foundation. Additional artwork was showcased from Oklahoma artists Ike Bennett, Buck Kennedy, Amos Beaver, Steven Dawes Jr., Amy Hornbeek, Laurie Givens, Beth Hammack, and Nancy Junkin.

Guests enjoyed an immersive experience with original artwork, hors d’oeuvres, curated cocktails, and a Fund-A-Need supporting pediatric art therapy.
