Kirschner Trusts Grant Expands Sooner SUCCESS “On the Road” Conferences Across Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, OK — January 21, 2026 — Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) is pleased to announce a $10,000 grant from the Kirschner Trusts, administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The gift builds on the Kirschner Trusts’ 2025 support of On the Road with Sooner SUCCESS, which served 357 individuals serving children with disabilities across five locations statewide.

The grant will support four free, one-day conferences in underserved Oklahoma communities, including Stillwater, Tulsa County, Oklahoma City, and Pawnee. The events provide families, caregivers, educators, and professionals with practical guidance on helping children and youth with disabilities transition to adulthood, including employment, education, healthcare, guardianship, and self-advocacy.

“Families navigating disability services often face limited access to information and support,” said CHF’s CEO Brandon Brooks. “With the Kirschner Trusts’ continued partnership, Sooner SUCCESS is bringing trusted resources directly into communities, helping young people with disabilities move toward greater independence.”

CHF supports Sooner SUCCESS, which connects children and youth with disabilities and their families to resources and programs across all 77 Oklahoma counties. To reduce barriers to participation, On the Road conferences include supports such as travel assistance and childcare stipends.
