OKLAHOMA CITY (June 24, 2026) — Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) has received a $5,000 grant from the Oklahoma Electric Cooperative Foundation (OEC) to support the Oklahoma Autism Center’s Early Foundations program in Cleveland County, which provides critical early intervention services for young children with autism.
The Early Foundations program helps prepare children with autism for success in public school pre-kindergarten classrooms by providing specialized support during their formative years. The OEC Foundation grant will be used to purchase toys, educational materials and therapeutic equipment for the program’s Cleveland County site.
Early intervention plays a vital role in helping children develop communication, social and learning skills that lay the groundwork for future academic success.
“We are incredibly grateful to the OEC Foundation for investing in the children and families served through Early Foundations,” said Brandon Brooks, president and CEO of Children’s Health Foundation. “These funds will help provide engaging, developmentally appropriate tools and equipment that support learning, growth and school readiness for children with autism in Cleveland County.”
The Early Foundations program provides individualized services designed to help children build essential skills while supporting families as they prepare for the transition to public school.
Children’s Health Foundation improves the health of children through its support of research, education and care in Oklahoma.
