OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (March 31, 2026) — The Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) announces a three-year partnership with the Oklahoma City Comets to sponsor a new sensory room and the existing playground at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The partnership was unveiled on Opening Night, Friday, March 27, with new signage displayed in the playground area behind right field. As part of the evening’s celebration, CHF 2026 Champion Child, Hunter, threw out the ceremonial first pitch to mark the partnership.
The sensory room reflects a shared commitment to an inclusive fan experience. Designed as a calming retreat, it offers a quiet space for individuals experiencing sensory overload, with tactile elements, bean bag seating, and soothing visual features to provide a break from bright lights and game-day noise.
“Our goal is to make Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark a place where every fan feels comfortable, included, and able to fully enjoy the experience,” said Comets General Manager Kyle Daugherty. “We’re excited to partner with the Children’s Health Foundation to bring this sensory room to life, and we’re proud to work together to ensure all families have a welcoming space at Oklahoma City Comets games.”
The playground which was resurfaced ahead of the 2026 season is also supported through the partnership, offering a fun, engaging space for younger fans and families.
“Creating inclusive spaces for every child and family is at the heart of our mission,” said Brandon Brooks, Chief Executive Officer of CHF. “We are proud to partner with the Comets to enhance accessibility and ensure all fans can enjoy the game in a way that meets their needs.”
This collaboration reflects the Comets’ continued commitment to creating an inclusive ballpark experience, supported through their partnership with CHF.
CHF looks forward to connecting with fans throughout the season and sharing its impact across Oklahoma.
