Oklahoma City, OK - Aflac's Childhood Cancer Foundation has given Children's Health Foundation a $1,500 Child Life Grant to support the OK Kids Korral.
The funds will help supply 100 nourishing meals, breakfast and dinner, for children, siblings, and their families who are facing cancer battles.
The OK Kids Korral provides food, community and lodging just steps away from the hospital for families who travel to Oklahoma City for treatment.
Breakfast is available seven days a week while dinner is served each Sunday-Thursday. On those nights, families come together to eat a nutritious hot meal, connect with others who are facing similar battles, and get a sense of normalcy. Meals are prepared and served by volunteers and staff at the OK Kids Korral.

The OK Kids Korral has served more than 700 families, many of whom are from Oklahoma, since opening.
CHF, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of children in Oklahoma through pediatric research, education, and care, is proud to partner with Aflac and the OK Kids Korral to address real-world needs of children and their families facing cancer.
