OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – [February 10, 2026] Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) is pleased to announce a $10,000 gift from the Ace Hardware. The donation will support the Pediatric Palliative Care Team at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, helping provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate care for children facing serious illness and their families.
Funds will be used to purchase specialized equipment and supportive items that improve quality of life for patients and caregivers, including a medical-grade recliner, therapeutic Comfort Cubs, blankets, stress-relief tools, and transportation assistance for families who might otherwise be unable to be present with their child during critical moments.
The Pediatric Palliative Care Team works alongside medical providers to manage pain and complex symptoms, guide families through difficult care decisions, and provide emotional and practical support throughout a child’s illness and bereavement process. The new resources will help create a more comfortable, supportive environment where families can spend meaningful time together.
“Pediatric palliative care ensures that children and their families are supported with compassion, dignity, and expert medical guidance during the most challenging times,” said CHF CEO Brandon Brooks. “This generous support from Ace Hardware allows CHF to provide comfort-focused resources that make a lasting difference for families.”
