Teen board application

Requirements & Eligibility:

Students should be entering grades 9 - 12
Students should live in the Oklahoma City metro or surrounding areas
Membership will run July through May each year
Members must be able to attend monthly meetings occurring on the second Tuesday of each month from 6 - 7 p.m. beginning September 15 at CHF's Office in OKC
In addition to meetings, members will be responsible for attending two Teen Board events - one in the Fall and another in the Spring. Members will be required to take on certain responsibilities for events. Dates are TBD.
The CHF Teen Board operates through committees, each led by a member of the executive team. Throughout the year, students will work collaboratively within their committees to complete specific initiatives. Together, they will plan and implement projects that raise funds and awareness for children’s health while supporting and engaging their peers.
Members are expected to attend all meetings and events. Up to two unexcused absences are allowed. After two missed meetings, students may be asked to step down from the board.
Members MUST be available for the retreat which will take place onSaturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The President is appointed prior to the start of the term. Elections for all other executive positions will be conducted at the summer retreat.
